My job – and my passion – is to help buyers to buy and sellers to sell houses, condos and land in the Portland Metro area.  My specialties are short sale & foreclosure transactions, although I work with conventional properties and transactions as well.

I was an experienced businessman well before I entered the field of real estate, having served as the principal of a graphic arts and printing company for over 21 years.  I have applied the knowledge and skills I acquired – in sales, marketing analysis & strategy, project management, needs assessment, negotiating and proposals & contracts – to the business of real estate, where they have served me – and, more importantly, my clients – well.  My skills and experience are supported by an Oregon Real Estate Broker’s License and a B. A. degree in Business (Texas Tech University).

I developed a love of real estate growing up on a farm in New Mexico.  This interest was later developed as an investor and property manager for several projects in Portland and Northern California.  As a licensed Oregon realtor and long-time resident of the Portland area, I understand and appreciate the small differences between Portland's outstanding neighborhoods.

As a Realtor®, I adhere to a strict Code of Ethics, which is based on professionalism and protection of the public. The Code of Ethics is a promise to the public that when dealing with a real estate agent who is a Realtor®, they can expect honest and ethical treatment in all transaction-related matters. All Realtors® are required to take a minimum of two and a half hours training on the Code of Ethics every four years.

As a Realtor®, I pledge to abide by the Code of Ethics, and only Realtors® are held accountable for their ethical behavior. Some of the basic principles of the Code of Ethics include:

• Protect and promote your client’s interest, but be honest with all parties.
• Realtors® shall be careful at all times to present a true picture in their advertising and representations to the public.
• Assure, whenever possible, that transactional details are in writing.
