Dan Crider

"The better informed a client is, the easier they are to serve."  This summarizes Dan's philosophy that information is a friend of a successful transaction.  "Really, we have moved past the Information Age and are now in an age of interpretation...because our clients get so much information that needs context to be meaningful."   Real Estate Service One provides both information and what we think that information means for the client.  Our Market Snapshot service is a good example of providing free, current, and relevant information.

                                David Stauffer

Native Oregonian

David, a native of Portland, left his hometown in 1964 and first moved to Seattle working for the Union Pacific Railroad. After a visit to beautiful southern California, he asked for and was transferred to the Los Angles area continuing his work for the UP Railroad. In 1970 he moved to San Francisco and began work in the accounting department for a shipping company. David moved back to Portland in 1974, as his love for this wonderful City of his birth attracted him home again.

Last Work Experience

After a long career in the Mass Transit industry (30 yrs) working first as an Operator, then a Supervisor/Dispatcher and finally a Schedule Writer, David retired from TriMet in 2005. From that work experience, he’s developed a keen knowledge of the Tri-County area. This gives him a valuable perspective in helping various people of diverse backgrounds through the buying and selling process. David obtained his Oregon Broker's license in 2009, after working for two years as an office assistant in a Real Estate office. This immersion in the industry lead to the next step in becoming Licensed and now offers his marketing skills to serve both the Portland Metro area and its urban districts.

Experience, Professionalism, Ethics and Friendliness

David takes pride in the ethical treatment of all, living up to the highest professional standards in each and every transaction. From the beginning to the end, remaining accessible to his clients is a value he regards highly. He is committed to maintaining this value while helping them through what can be a confusing and seemingly overwhelming experience. David believes in taking a pro-active role in making their transaction work as smooth as possible. Always ready with a caring attitude, a smile, he does what he said he would do, sometimes more, just never less.
